Gunning-Williams signs pro contract

We are delighted to announce that Lenna Gunning-Williams has signed her first professional contract with the Club.

After growing up in Enfield and coming through our Academy system, Lenna was a part of our pre-season tour in Louisville ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

The forward went on to make her debut for the First Team in November’s 5-1 win at home to Coventry United in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup, in which Lenna scored the final goal of the game and her first in Lilywhite with a header at the far post.

Five more senior appearances came across the Barclays Women’s Super League, League Cup and Vitality Women’s FA Cup throughout the season.

In the Academy League last season, Lenna was integral to our third-place finish as she netted 14 times in 17 games to become the fifth highest scorer in the division. She was the league’s top scorer in 2021/22 with 24 goals in 22 appearances.
