Craig signs new contract

We are delighted to announce that Matthew Craig has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until 2026.

Matthew, 20, made his first team debut as a second-half substitute in our final Premier League game of the 2022/23 campaign as we beat Leeds United 4-1 at Elland Road.

The central midfielder, a Scotland Under-21 international, started every one of our Under-21s’ Premier League 2 fixtures last term, making 28 appearances in all competitions at that level in total, while also playing four times in the Under-19 UEFA Youth League as our captain.
