We are delighted to announce that Vicky Jepson has been appointed to the role of Senior Assistant Head Coach for our women’s first team.
In addition to her responsibilities alongside Head Coach Robert Vilahamn, Vicky will also work closely with our women’s academy teams, aiding the development of our young players as they seek to progress to senior level. As part of this, Vicky will collaborate closely and share knowledge with our men’s academy staff, further strengthening the overall cohesion of our men’s and women’s player development programmes.
Commenting on her new role, Vicky said: “Robert and I already have good chemistry in terms of our working relationship. We understand each other and are both really excited to get on the grass when the girls return on 7 August.
“I’m hugely invested in our squad, as people and also in their development as players. It’s an elite performing environment that we’re creating and I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my journey here.”
Vicky joined us as Assistant Coach in 2021 and last March was appointed Interim Head Coach, a role she held until the end of the 2022/23 campaign. Leading us to some important results during the latter stages of the season, she helped us secure our Barclays Women’s Super League status as we eventually stayed in the division by seven points.
Before joining the Club, Vicky had a spell as manager at Liverpool Women, having earlier held the role of assistant manager, where she was named FA Female Development Coach of the Year.
Spurs Women Season Tickets are now on general sale for the upcoming 2023/24 season here.
