We are delighted to announce that Rosella Ayane has signed a new contract with the Club which will run until June, 2025.

A player who has continued to grow in Lilywhite since her move from Bristol City in July, 2019, Rosella finished as our top creator in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season with four assists. The Morocco international also added one goal across her 19 appearances in the competition.

Since arriving in north London, our number 23 has made a total of 66 WSL appearances in our colours and has three goals to her name in England’s top flight, the first of which came against Aston Villa in December, 2020.

In May, Rosella scooped the Moroccan of the World award in the Sport category, recognising her contributions at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as, on home soil, Morocco reached their first ever final thanks to a decisive penalty from the forward in a 5-4 shootout victory over Nigeria in the semi-finals. She was then on target in the final as her nation fell 2-1 to South Africa.

That historic run by the Atlas Lionesses’ at WAFCON also secured qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time. The tournament, held in Australia and New Zealand this summer, begins on Thursday 20 July with Morocco drawn into Group H alongside Germany, the Republic of Korea and Colombia.
