Asia-Pacific Tour | Team news - Scarlett set to miss Foxes clash

Dane Scarlett looks set to miss the second pre-season match of our Asia-Pacific Tour against Leicester City in Bangkok on Sunday (11am UK, 5pm local).

The young striker picked up a muscle injury in a training session in Perth, missed our Tour opener against West Ham and wasn’t involved in the squad’s Open Training session at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Saturday evening, local time.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY ahead of the game, Ange Postecoglou told us: “Dane will miss out again tomorrow but everyone else is okay. There are a couple of guys who didn’t play (against West Ham) the other night who are now available, we’ll mix it up a bit.”

Asked in his pre-match press conference ahead of training if anyone was unavailable, said responded: “Dane Scarlett is the only one. Obviously, there were a couple who missed out last time who are available. We’ve a big squad here, so not everyone will play, but, apart from Dane, that’s about all.”
