Wed 18 January 2023, 16:05|Tottenham Hotspur
Midfielder Mana Iwabuchi became our second signing of the January transfer window as she completed her loan move from Arsenal on Wednesday.
“I’m very excited to be here,” she told us in her first Spurs interview at Hotspur Way.
“Rehanne [Skinner] told me about our ambitions, so I’m very excited to join our journey.”
Mana will get the chance to be reunited with former teammates Tinja-Riikka Korpela, who she met at Bayern Munich, as well as Ramona Petzelberger and Asmita Ale, who she played with at Aston Villa.
“I’m lucky to have friends here already!”
So what can we expect Mana to bring to the team?
“I’m an intelligent player,” she said. “I bring that on the pitch for the team and try to contribute.
“Now I’m a Spurs player so I try to do my best. Please support me and Tottenham!”
You could see Mana in action in our next game against Leicester City at Brisbane Road on Sunday. Get your tickets here!
