Tottenham HotspurWe are delighted to announce the signing of Bethany England from Chelsea.
The experienced England international forward has signed a contract with us until June 2026 and will wear the number 19 shirt.
The 28-year-old began her career with Doncaster Rovers Belles before joining Chelsea in 2016.
Following a successful loan spell at Liverpool, she excelled for Emma Hayes’ side in 2019/20, when she scored 21 goals in all competitions and won the Women’s Super League Player of the Season award.
That season, she also scored the winning goal in the Continental League Cup Final, and she now has 55 goals in 115 WSL games in total, plus nine major trophies from her time at Chelsea.
An established England international, Bethany represented her country at Under-19 and Under-23 levels before shining for the senior side with six goals in the qualifiers for the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
Part of Sarina Wiegman’s squad that won Euro 2022 in the summer, she currently has 21 senior international caps to her name, scoring 11 goals.
