Marc Leckie appointed Chief Executive of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Marc Leckie as its new Chief Executive.
Marc joins the Club’s charitable body with over 25 years of experience working in community sport foundations, most recently at The Harlequins Foundation where he has been CEO since October 2017.
At Harlequins, he has led on a rugby-first skills framework and expanded the Foundation’s education and training programmes to develop its own pipeline of talent, with a particular focus on under-served and represented communities.
Prior to Harlequins, Marc had spent seventeen years at Charlton Athletic Community Trust, holding several roles culminating in his final role as Director of Youth & Inclusion, with the Addicks named the English Football League’s Community Club of the Year on three occasions during his time at The Valley.
A lifelong Spurs supporter, Marc is a multi-award winner and will replace Sarah Ebanja, who retired from the role as Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s Chief Executive at the end of last year.
Marc said: “Sport has played an integral role in my life and I am an enthusiastic advocate of the part it plays in helping to shape society for the better.
“I am passionate about supporting people who have had challenging experiences during their life, as my own lived experience has shaped both my personal and professional purpose. When I was growing up, I participated in multiple sports and activities, using these experiences to develop the essential skills that have helped me in my adult life.
“My ambition is to make sure people are supported to be happy and to play my part in providing opportunities for as many people as possible, creating sustainable and meaningful impact.
“I am eager to lead a Foundation that supports people to defy limitations, as well as ensuring it continues to develop and reflect its values in its work, being recognised as the foremost sports foundation globally.”
