Leicester v Spurs – how to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Fri 10 February 2023, 23:04|Tottenham Hotspur

We’re back in action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Leicester City (kick-off 3pm UK time).

The Foxes won 4-2 at Aston Villa last time out, while we’re looking to build on last weekend’s 1-0 home win over Manchester City.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game...

How can I watch the game?

Saturday’s match is not due to be televised live in the UK, but you can follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app.

There, you’ll find minute-by-minute text and audio commentary, goal alerts, stats and much more, meaning you won’t miss any of the action. Kick-off is at 3pm.

Video highlights will be available from two hours after the game on SPURSPLAY, with the full match replay available on the same platform from midnight on Sunday.

talkSPORT 2 will also carry live radio commentary during the match.

Worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

What is the team news?

Head Coach Antonio Conte is back at the Club after returning from gallbladder surgery, but we’ll be without goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris after he picked up a knee injury against City last weekend.

Fraser Forster is set to deputise with either Brandon Austin or Alfie Whiteman likely to be on the bench.

In addition, defender Cristian Romero misses out as he serves a one-game ban for the red card he picked up against City, with midfielder Yves Bissouma also sidelined after ankle surgery.

Defender Ricardo Perreira is available for Leicester for the first time this season after recovering from an Achilles injury, while midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is also back in the picture after missing his side’s last match against Aston Villa. Saturday’s game is likely to come too soon for Boubakary Soumare and Jonny Evans, though.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Leicester City will play in all blue, with their goalkeeper in all black.

We will play in our home kit – Lilywhite shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks – with our keeper in yellow.

Who is the referee?

Michael Salisbury will referee the match at the King Power Stadium, with Matthew Wilkes and Wade Smith as his assistants.

The fourth official will be Keith Stroud.

On VAR duties will be Mike Dean, along with assistant Richard West.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s due to be cloudy with a light breeze in Leicester on Saturday. Temperatures should be around 11 degrees at the start of the game.
