Beth has hit the ground running after joining the Club last month scoring in both of our games in February against Chelsea and Manchester United.
She got us back in the game with an equaliser at home to Chelsea on Sunday, 5 February, following a well-worked move on the left wing from Ashleigh Neville and Drew Spence.
Beth continued her instant impact with a brilliant solo finish against Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Receiving the ball from Mana Iwabuchi close to the half-way line, our number 19 charged forward, drifting inside to the edge of the 18-yard box and smashed the ball into the bottom right corner past Mary Earps.
For the Player of the Month award, she is going up against Hannah Blundell (Manchester United), Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa), Chloe Kelly (Manchester City), Janina Leitzig (Leicester City), and Jordan Nobbs (Aston Villa).
England’s brilliant goal against Manchester United is in contention for Goal of the Month alongside Hannah Cain (for Leicester City v Liverpool), Lauren James (for Chelsea v Spurs), Chloe Kelly (for Manchester City v Leicester City), and Jordan Nobbs (for Aston Villa v Brighton and Hove Albion).
