AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola hopes to have midfielder Lewis Cook available for Sunday's Premier League clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (2pm UK).
Cook has started 13 of Bournemouth's 18 Premier League matches so far this term, but picked up a groin injury in the 3-2 win at Forest on 23 December and therefore missed the 3-0 win against Fulham on Boxing Day. Youngster Alex Scott took his place and impressed alongside Ryan Christie, setting up the opener with a mazy run.
Speaking on Friday, Iraola said: "We are not changing a lot of players at the moment, but the one that could recover is Lewis Cook. It could happen, I don’t know though, it’s not a guarantee. We have to see if he can train with us ahead of the game."
Meanwhile, Iraola reported that Ivory Coast international Hamed Traorè is sidelined after a spell in hospital with Malaria. He'll miss the African Cup of Nations, starting in January.
