It’s fifth versus seventh at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday as both ourselves and Newcastle United jockey for position in the upper reaches of the Premier League table.

How can I watch the game?
Sunday’s match will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, kick-off 4.30pm.
Radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Before the action gets underway on Sunday, you’ll be able to watch The Warm-Up, our pre-match show emanating from inside the stadium, to get closer to all the action. The show will be on air from 3.45pm UK time on SPURSPLAY and our official YouTube channel, with The Review Show available from two hours after the full-time whistle on SPURSPLAY.
Video highlights will also be available on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the final whistle, with a full match replay available from midnight after the game on the same platform.
What is the team news?
Heung-Min Son will be assessed after being forced off late against West Ham on Thursday.
“We’ll see how he is because he was a bit sore after the game. We’ll wait and see what the outcome is for Sunday,” said Ange Postecoglou on Friday.
James Maddison, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ashley Phillips, Micky van de Ven and Alfie Whiteman all remain out.
Newcastle also have a lengthy injury list to contend with.
Jamaal Lascelles will be assessed after his withdrawal against Everton this week, while Martin Dubravka is likely to continue in goal after Nick Pope suffered a shoulder injury against Manchester United last weekend.
Sven Botman, Callum Wilson, Jacob Murphy, Dan Burn, Elliot Anderson, Joe Willock, Sean Longstaff, Harvey Barnes, Matt Targett and Javi Manquillo are all out with Sandro Tonali suspended.
Who is the referee?
Chris Kavanagh will referee Sunday’s match, assisted by Simon Bennett and Dan Robathan.
The fourth official will be Tom Bramall.
Peter Bankes will be on VAR duty, assisted by Harry Lennard.
What colours will the teams be playing in?
We’ll be in our 2023/24 all-Lilywhite home strip.
Our goalkeeper will again play in light blue.
Newcastle will wear their third kit, featuring navy blue patterned shirts with yellow trim, black shorts and yellow socks.
Their keeper will wear pink.
What will the weather conditions be like?
The rain from earlier in the day is expected to have eased by the time the match gets underway against Newcastle. It’ll be cloudy and breezy, with temperatures at around 11 degrees.
