Opposition view | David Moyes: "Spurs are as good as any side in the Premier League at the moment"

West Ham boss David Moyes said Ange Postecoglou has done 'remarkable' so far at Spurs as we prepare to meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening (Thursday 7 December, 8.15pm UK).

Moyes, whose side were Ange's first opponents as Spurs manager in our pre-season opener in Perth in July, was full of praise for Ange and the team ahead of the Premier League clash.

Asked about Ange's impact in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Glasgow-born Moyes, who began his playing career at Celtic, said: "He's done remarkable. Tottenham are a really good side and he's made a big difference to how they play, the crowd and the atmosphere, but I'm a bit surprised everyone else was surprised after what he did at Celtic, where the pressure is enormous and he coped and dealt with it. Tottenham are as good as any side in the Premier League at the moment."

Asked how West Ham could show their personality in N17, Moyes replied: "Going to Tottenham is a tough away game. We need to be competitive and hard to beat and when we get those moments, we have some talented players and we need to show we are able to play."
