Man City vs Spurs | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Sun 03 December 2023, 10:15|Tottenham Hotspur

We travel to Manchester this afternoon (Sunday 3 December) to take on Pep Guardiola's treble winners in a 4.30pm kick-off (UK) in the Premier League - here’s all you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, kick-off 4.30pm.

Overseas broadcast listings can be found on our Spurs on TV page here.

Don’t forget, you can also follow the game live and in-depth via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where we’ll have full live radio and text commentary available as usual, complemented by images, live in-game stats and more.

Look out for the Review Show with Ben Haines and guest, our former defender Stephen Kelly, looking back on the game on SPURSPLAY, YouTube and clips across our social media channels. Video highlights will be available on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the final whistle, with a full match replay available from midnight after the game on the same platform.

What is the team news?

We travel to Manchester in the middle of a well-documented injury crisis with no less than 10 first team squad members sidelined - Richarlison, James Maddison, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ashley Phillips, Micky van de Var and Alfie Whiteman. Cristian Romero also serves the last of his three-match suspension. However, Yves Bissouma is back after a one-match ban.

Here are updates from Ange Postecoglou on Rodrigo and Richarlison.

As for City, John Stones is closing in on a return after a hip issue - he's been on the bench as an unused substitute in City's last two matches - while Croatia midfielder Mateo Kovacic is also back in the frame after picking up an injury in the 4-4 draw against his former club Chelsea before the international break. Matheus Nunes remains sidelined.

Who is the referee?

Simon Hooper is referee at the Eithad, assisted by Adrian Holmes and Simon Long. Fourth official is Anthony Taylor, while Robert Jones and Darren Cann are on VAR duty.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

We’ll be in our taupe haze third kit for the second time in the Premier League. We last wore the single-tone strip in our 1-0 win at Luton Town on 7 October. Our goalkeeper will play in yellow.

City will be wearing their traditional light blue shirts, white shorts and light blue socks, with their goalkeeper in all green.

What will the weather conditions be like?

Rain is forecast on a chilly day in Manchester, with temperatures not expected to top three degrees.
