Tottenham HotspurIt was a delightful evening in north London on Saturday as we enjoyed comfortable 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Earning our first victory over the Red Devils at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, we struck the woodwork twice in a frenetic first half - first the crossbar from Pedro Porro's right boot before Pape Matar Sarr clipped the upright.
The Senegal international would find the target soon after the break though as he fired in Dejan Kulusevski's cutback on 49 minutes to edge us in front in the contest - that was his first in our colours.
And from there, we generally dominated proceedings, continually pressing to double our advantage, forcing that issue. On 83 minutes, we got just that to secure the three points. Some superb play between James Maddison and Ivan Perisic got us into the final third before the run of Ben Davies was picked out by the Croatian, and he rolled home, with some assistance from Lisandro Martinez.
