Fulham vs Spurs | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Tue 29 August 2023, 17:10|Tottenham Hotspur

We take our first steps in this season’s Carabao Cup this evening when we visit Fulham in the second round (7.45pm UK).

With no European football on the agenda this year, we enter the competition at the second-round stage for the first time since the 2009/10 campaign.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the game...

How can I watch the game?

Tonight’s match has not been selected for live television broadcast in the UK, but live radio commentary can be found on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra and talkSPORT 2.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm UK time – overseas broadcast listings can be found here.

As usual, you can also follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates and audio commentary, images, stats and so much more.

Video highlights will be available on SPURSPLAY from one hour after the game, with the full match replay available from midnight (UK and Ireland only).

What is the team news?

Both sides are expected to make changes for tonight’s game.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY at Bournemouth on Saturday, Ange Postegoclou said: “We’ll make some changes so we have the energy that will be required. It took a lot out of the boys today, but I’m looking forward to it.”

Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon, Bryan Gil and Alfie Whiteman remain out.

Fulham have signed Belgium international full-back Timothy Castagne from Leicester City, but it remains to be seen if he will be involved this evening.

Who is the referee?

Josh Smith will take charge of tonight’s game, assisted by Matthew Jones and Sam Lewis.

The fourth official will be Sam Barrott.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Fulham will be in white shirts, black shorts and black socks.

We’ll be in our new Taupe Haze third kit – register your interest here ahead of the kit’s full launch this Friday.

The Cottagers’ goalkeeper will be in royal blue, with ours in yellow.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s forecast to be cloudy with light winds this evening, with temperatures at around 17 degrees. We could also see some rain showers as the game goes on.
