"We are ready to fight against United" - Lenglet

Clement Lenglet believes our clash against top four rivals Manchester United is our ‘first final’ with six Premier League games to go.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast, we are back at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening with another opportunity to close the gap on the Champions League qualification places starting with fourth-placed United.
Following our defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, Acting Head Coach Ryan Mason has been demanding a reaction from the squad ahead of a crucial double header. First up is the Red Devils in N17 tonight, and Clement and his team-mates are determined to a show a fervent response.
We need to start the game from minute one until the end with intensity and aggressiveness to show everyone that we are still alive.
“We have to change our mindset,” said the France international. “After a big defeat, you can have a new opportunity and we are ready to fight against United, to find the right solutions to win the game. It’s the first final for us. They are in the top four at the moment but they still have to fight until the end to stay there and we have to try and find a place for us.
“We need to start the game from minute one until the end with intensity and aggressiveness to show everyone that we are still alive and we will keep that fire in our hearts until the end, because we have to.
“Ryan (Mason) was a player here, so he knows the exertions of the sport and he knows what to demand from us. He’s transparent, direct and always tells the truth which I think is a good thing. We are here to give 100 per cent to help him because it’s never easy to take this responsibility right now. I hope we’ll have a lot of success until the end of the season.”
Signed on loan from Barcelona, the French defender has been a solid addition to our backline and, after being an unused substitute in our defeat on Tyneside as he continued his recovery from injury, he is working hard to be in contention to start against United in a boost to our defence.
“My injury is very specific," added our number 34. "It’s an inflammation so we did a lot of treatment last week so I’m working to be available from the start against United if Ryan takes that decision.”
