Harry Kane and Ashleigh Neville have been shortlisted in the 2022 Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) Awards.

First up, Harry has been nominated for the Men’s Player of the Year award after a fine year in lilywhite.

So far in 2022, our number 10 has contributed to 36 goals in just 40 outings, scoring 26 times and assisting 10.

He is now up to 258 Spurs goals, eight shy of Jimmy Greaves’ 52-year-old Club record (266) while, on Saturday, he made his 400th appearance in our colours. The England captain is also close to breaking the Three Lions’ goal scoring record. Currently on 51 goals for his country, he is two adrift of Wayne Rooney’s tally of 53, having added three more to his tally this year.

For the award, Harry will be up against Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne as well as Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

Meanwhile, Ashleigh is up for the Women’s Player of the Year.

Like Harry, it has also been quite the year for Ash.

A key part of Rehanne Skinner’s side who enjoyed their highest-ever Women’s Super League finish in 2021/22, the full-back made 26 appearances and scored three goals for us in all competitions in a campaign in which she was nominated for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Season.

Back in February, she became our first-ever player to win the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Month award while, this month, she became our first recipient of the WSL Goal of the Month Award following her outstanding strike against Leicester City in September.

At the end of last season, Ash picked up our Player of the Season and Juniors’ Player of the Season awards.

England’s Lionesses Beth Mead, Ella Toone and Kiera Walsh, as well as West Ham United’s Kate Longhurst and Chelsea’s Sam Kerr have also been nominated.
