Antonio Conte has told us there is no change on the team news front heading into our Premier League finale at Norwich City on Sunday (4pm).
That means Cristian Romero will not recover in time from a hip injury he sustained at Anfield on 7 May, and remains sidelined with Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga.
Antonio also gave the latest on Harry Kane’s fitness after the striker reported feeling unwell.
Asked in his pre-match press conference if Harry would be okay for Sunday, Antonio replied: “Yes. Also, in the last game (against Burnley), we had Dejan Kulusevski with this problem, he didn’t train with us on the Saturday but, on Sunday, he was good to play. For sure, Harry doesn’t want to miss this type of game. It means a lot for everyone.
“If you remember against Burnley, we had three, four cases of a stomach problem. In this week, we had a couple of cases, but overcame the situation. The availability of the players is the same as the last game against Burnley.”
Speaking earlier to Spurs TV, Antonio said: “Cuti (Romero) is out, he’s not available. We have the same situation as the last game, no less, no more. This week, we had a couple of situations with this virus, a stomach problem. Also, a member of staff. Like last week, we have to be ready to play.”
