Rehanne Skinner and Ashleigh Neville have earned the Club’s first-ever nominations for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Manager of the Season and Player of the Season awards.

It comes as deserved recognition for both Rehanne and Ashleigh after a memorable season in which the team wrote themselves into the history books and achieved our best-ever league finish.

Rehanne has overseen a remarkable transformation since arriving in north London in December, 2020 and this season made great strides to close the gap on the established top three of the WSL in what was only our second full campaign in the top-flight.

Rehanne was in the running for Manager of the Month three times throughout the course of the year after guiding her squad to a series of consistently impressive performances.

Following victory against Birmingham City on the opening day of the season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Rehanne and her team propelled themselves into the top half of the table; reached the semi-finals of the Continental Cup for the first time and were in the hunt for a Champions League finish for most of the season.

Full-back Ashleigh is in the frame for the Player of the Season award after making notable contributions at both ends of the pitch.

The 29-year-old rounded off an incredible season by heading home the winner against Leicester City on the final day of the season to help her team to secure fifth place and joining the 100 club after making a century of appearances.

Rehanne is shortlisted alongside Jonas Eidevall (Arsenal) and Emma Hayes (Chelsea) for the Manager of the Season award.

Ash, meanwhile, faces competition from Alex Greenwood (Manchester City), Lauren Hemp (Manchester City), Beth Mead (Arsenal), Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal) and Ella Toone (Manchester United).
