Ashleigh Neville has been named the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Month for February.
It was a month to remember for our all-action full-back who made eye-catching contributions at both ends of the pitch during our dominant displays against Brighton (4-0) and Birmingham (2-0).
As well as making vital tackles and interceptions to help us register back-to-back clean sheets, our number 26 also scored in both games and provided an assist.
She saw off competition from fellow nominees Jess Carter (Chelsea), Ann-Katrin Berger (Chelsea), Jemma Purfield (Leicester), Alisha Lehmann (Aston Villa) and Ashleigh Plumptre (Leicester City) to write herself into the history books and become the Club’s first ever recipient of the award.
