Spurs Women kick-off WSL season against United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs Women will begin their 2022/23 Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) campaign with a fascinating clash against Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 10 September, 12.30pm kick-off,  and tickets are available now!

Both teams pushed the traditional ‘big three’ of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City all the way last season. We took points off Arsenal, City and United for the first time in the WSL as we competed for a top three place and Champions League qualification, eventually finishing fifth, the best in the Club’s history. United, including England stars Mary Earps, Ella Toone and Alessia Russo, were fourth.

Rehanne Skinner has strengthened the squad this summer with the arrivals of Amy Turner, Ramona Petzelberger, Ellie Brazil and Drew Spence and what better way to start a new WSL season after such a successful UEFA Women's Euro 2022 tournament than kicking-off with this huge clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - home of the league’s record attendance, 38,262 set against Arsenal in November, 2019.

Speaking ahead of training today, Head Coach Rehanne told us: “It’s very special to be starting our season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the second year in a row. The Euros has captured the imagination of people across the country and inspired a new audience of women’s football fans this summer. The crowds have been incredible, the appetite is there, and I hope the momentum continues for the WSL. We can’t wait to play in front of our fans again at the best stadium in the world.”

Tickets for our opening game against Manchester United are available online now via https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspur/Events. 

Prices are as follows:

Adults: £7
Young adults (18-21): £4.50
Concessions (17 and under, Over-65): £3.50

Supporters can also purchase tickets for the first four fixtures at our new home of Brisbane Road against Liverpool, Manchester City, Everton and West Ham here. 

Season-Ticket Holders 

Season Ticket Holders will be able to select a seat for the Manchester United fixture at the Stadium as part of their Season Ticket allocation. Once logged into your eTicketing account, you will need to select the Season Ticket option before selecting any additional tickets you wish to purchase.
