Tottenham HotspurWe are delighted to announce the signing of Ramona Petzelberger.
The experienced midfielder has signed a contract with us until 2024.
Ramona has made 30 Women’s Super League appearances to date, scoring six goals having joined Aston Villa from SGS Essen in July, 2020.
Born in Germany, the 29-year-old spent the majority of her career plying her trade in her home country with spells at SG Wattenschied 09, SC 07 Bad Neuenahr, and Bayer Leverkusen where she made 94 appearances.
In 2017, after departing Leverkusen, Ramona returned to her hometown and joined her local club, SGS Essen. She helped the Bundesliga side to reach the DFB Cup final in 2019/20 before making the switch to the WSL.
On the international stage, she has represented Germany in three age groups from Under-17 to Under-20 and was most recently called up to the senior team for the Arnold Clark Cup in February, 2022.
