Pre-season begins for Spurs Women

Pre-season training has begun for our women’s first team squad.

Players returned to Hotspur Way after their summer break today (Monday 18 July) as the hard work begins ahead of the 2022/23 Barclays Women’s Super League season.

The players got straight down to business and were put through their paces with fitness testing and a training session on the pitch.

New faces, Ramona Petzelberger and Ellie Brazil, were getting acquainted with their new home for the first time after signing for the Club earlier in the summer.

A number of players - including Shelina Zadorsky, Becky Spencer, Drew Spence, Rosella Ayane, So-hyun Cho, Tinja-Riikka Korpela and Eveliina Summanen - currently away representing their countries will report for duty next week as our pre-season tour to the United States to participate in The Women’s Cup draws closer.
