Information for fans travelling to Ibrox on Saturday

Thu 21 July 2022, 18:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Supporters making the trip to Glasgow for Saturday’s Walter Tull Memorial Cup match against Rangers should be aware of the following information.

A reminder that we kick-off at 3pm, with gates opening at 1.30pm.

Celtic are playing Norwich City in a pre-season friendly at Celtic Park, also kicking off at 3pm. Glasgow city centre is expected to be busy on the day of the match, so supporters are advised to plan their journeys in advance and arrive early at the stadium.

Supporters are asked to take particular note of the information regarding the unauthorised use of tickets which can be found below. Supporters without tickets should not travel to the stadium.

Getting to Ibrox

The Subway is the recommended mode of transport for supporters travelling from Glasgow city centre to Ibrox, taking 10-20 minutes depending on departure point. Trains depart approximately every five minutes.

Only St. Enoch station in the city centre and Govan station near the stadium are wheelchair accessible.

Visiting supporters should alight at Govan station rather than Ibrox station as it is a shorter walk to the visitors’ section of the stadium.

Buses 9, 10 and 38 serve Ibrox from Glasgow city centre though roads are expected to be congested near the stadium.

Spurs respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.

If you witness incidents like these, please report them to your nearest steward or email slo@rangers.co.uk or contact@rangers.co.uk.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language.

Unauthorised use of tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50% reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters unable to attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club will make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of originally issued tickets.
