Antonio Conte has given an update on Richarlison's injury ahead of our return to action at Brentford in the Premier League on Boxing Day (12.30pm).
Antonio told us on Tuesday that the striker was due to go for an MRI scan this week on the hamstring injury he suffered in Brazil's World Cup quarter-final loss against Croatia on 9 December.
Speaking in his pre-Brentford press conference this afternoon, Antonio said: "I followed all my players at the World Cup with my fingers crossed, because you know very well you can lose important players, and it happened with Richarlison, who had a problem, Bentancur and Ben Davies."
Asked how long he expected Richarlison to be out for, Antonio replied: "I spoke with the medical department, they told me we need three to four weeks. His injury was a serious injury."
Speaking to SPURSPLAY ahead of the conference, Antonio told us: "About Richy, you know very well that now we have to wait because his injury was a serious injury. We have to wait."
Ben was back in action in our exhibition match against OGC Nice on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, Antonio spoke further about Rodrigo ahead of that game on Tuesday.
