This Monday (8 August), our Under-21s kick-off their Premier League 2 campaign against Leicester City (kick-off 7pm) – and you can watch it live on SPURSPLAY.

Our new home for exclusive live and on-demand video, SPURSPLAY was the place to watch each of our Men’s First Team pre-season friendlies as we took on Team K League, Sevilla, Rangers and AS Roma across the summer. Now, the live offering continues on the platform with our Academy taking centre stage.

This season, we’ll be streaming our Under-21 and Under-18’s home matches*, plus select Under-21 away games – and the action begins on Monday as we take on the Foxes in the PL 2. *subject to availability

Following a promising pre-season campaign which saw our Development Squad hit double figures across their five outings, this year, Wayne Burnett’s team are looking to build on a seventh-place league finish in 2021/22.

Our preparations for the new season began with an impressive 1-0 win over League Two side Colchester United at Hotspur Way in which the returning Roshaun Mathurin, who missed almost the entirety of 2021/22 through injury, scored the winner. The dynamic winger then scored again in our next outing as we fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat at Enfield Town. Midfielder Nile John – who made his first team debut back in February, 2021, against Wolfsberger in the Europa League – also found the target in that match with somewhat of a thunderbolt.

Later in the summer, Romaine Mundle then starred as he hit a brace on the road at Bromley as we came away from south London with a 2-0 win before fellow winger Yago Santiago produced the same trick away at Billericay the following week. Jamie Donley – who was involved in 22 goals in just 18 appearances for our Under-18s last season – was also on the scoresheet that night alongside Max Robson, who wrapped up the 4-1 win in Essex.

For Monday night’s season opener with Leicester City, multi-camera coverage will be in operation bringing supporters four different angles of the action. Please note, dependent on the venue a match is played at, multi-camera coverage may not be available for all live Academy fixtures.

For an annual subscription of £45 – reduced to £35 for Season Ticket Holders and One Hotspur Members – fans will be able to watch each of our streamed Academy matches both live and on demand, as well as all of the post-match reaction – but that is not all.

While SPURSPLAY is the home of our Academy coverage, the platform is also the home of our brand-new original documentary series, including:

  • Antonio Conte: 202 days – a unique look back on the 2021/22 season through the eyes of the man who led us back to the UEFA Champions League, Antonio Conte
  • The Legacy Collection - our legends, their stories. Our greatest and most iconic players tell their stories from their time in lilywhite, including: Cliff Jones, Martin Chivers, Ossie Ardiles, Gary Mabbutt and Ledley King.
  • The Lane - the story of our famous former home, White Hart Lane, as told by the legendary figures that graced its stage across its 118-year history.
  • Home Again - the unseen journey as we moved into our brand-new home, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in March, 2019.

And those are just for starters with much more to come from our in-house production team over the coming months. Alongside our documentaries, there will be enhanced coverage of our Men’s First Team matches, including pre and post-match shows which include exclusive interviews, plus highlights and a full-match replay of each fixture. Additionally, we’ll also have increased coverage of our Women’s First Team, including three matches broadcast live on the platform.

Plus, as part of the subscription, fans will have access to the archive collection, which includes full-match replays of some of the most iconic matches in our history, including:

  • Both legs of our UEFA Cup Final triumph over Anderlecht from May, 1984
  • Our League Cup Final victory over Chelsea from February, 2008
  • Our final game at White Hart Lane as we defeated Manchester United in May, 2017
  • The second leg of our Champions League semi-final victory over Ajax in May, 2019

Meanwhile, the platform also has highlights of over 600 of our games from our last 13 campaigns, including Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, Europa League and friendly matches.
