Antonio previews Forest: “We have to go into the game in the right mind”

Mindset is key for Antonio Conte, who expects a cauldron of an atmosphere when we step out at The City Ground for the first time in the Premier League since 1999 on Sunday (4.30pm).
Nottingham Forest are back in English football’s top flight after a 23-year wait, gaining promotion via a play-off final win against Huddersfield at Wembley in May. Forest’s last season in the Premier League was 1998/99, and our last league visit a 1-0 win in April, 1999, Steffen Iversen on target.
Steve Cooper’s men have made a promising start with four points from their first three matches, including a win against West Ham in their home return and a point on the road at Everton last weekend.
“For sure, we are talking about a club with a lot of history, and it will be an exciting game,” said Antonio. “Nottingham Forest fans are very passionate, and we know we will find a lot of noise during the game, but we have to be prepared to face every situation.
“The atmosphere will be really good, and we have to enjoy that and play our football. We have to go into the game in the right mind. Every game is very difficult, but it doesn’t mean that you don’t fight for the three points and try to get the win. Our mentality, our hearts, our desire has to be to play every game to get the best.”
