Spurs v Leicester – how to follow, team news, key information

Sat 30 April 2022, 22:40|Tottenham Hotspur

As we enter our final five games of the season, we welcome Leicester City to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 2pm UK).

We’re currently fifth, two points outside the top four, while the Foxes are 11th, albeit with a number of games in hand on the teams above them.

They’re also in the middle of a two-legged Europa Conference League semi-final against Roma. Having drawn 1-1 at the King Power Stadium on Thursday, they’ll travel to Italy for the return match during the coming week.

Here’s all the information you need to know ahead of Sunday’s clash...

How can I watch the game?

Our match against Leicester hasn’t been selected for live broadcast in the UK but if you’re following us from overseas, check out the listings in your area. Kick-off is at 2pm UK.

If you’re in the UK but aren’t coming to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in person, you can follow all the action via our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app. There you’ll find minute-by-minute text and audio commentary, goal alerts, stats and much more.

Plus, for all the live build-up and reaction from inside the stadium, tune in to N17 Live, our exclusive pre- and post-match show, which is available to watch for free online, across social media and on the app from 1.15pm UK.

You can also join our official Watchalong on Twitch from 1pm UK.

Video highlights of the game will be available on the website and app from two hours after the final whistle.

How will the teams line up?

Sergio Reguilon has joined our list of absentees with a groin problem and will miss Sunday’s match.

Oliver Skipp, Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga are also on the sidelines.

As for Leicester, Ryan Bertrand and Wilfred Ndidi are still out but right-back Timothy Castagne could be okay to play after suffering an eye injury against Roma in midweek.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Jonathan Moss will referee the game on Sunday.

Marc Perry and Timothy Wood will serve as the assistant referees, with Graham Scott in place as the fourth official.

VAR will be looked after by Jarred Gillett, along with assistant Gary Beswick.

We’ll be in our home kit as usual – Lilywhite shirts, navy shorts and navy socks with the goalkeeper in all green – although the shirts will look different to usual on Sunday. That’s because, for this one match only, they’ll carry the AIA Better Lives Fund logo – a charity aimed at raising funds for good causes in Singapore and the Club’s Foundation. After the game, the one-off shirts will be signed by the players and auctioned off.

Leicester will be playing in their change kit, which features grey shirts, black shorts and pink socks. Their keeper will wear yellow.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Our matchday programme will be on sale at the game as usual, priced at £3.50. It’s available from all Tap Inn counters around the stadium and external pods situated at Paxton House, the South Podium, Park Lane Square and Worcester Avenue.

Supporters not attending the match can order a copy online here, for delivery direct to your door.

Ryan Sessegnon stars on the cover this weekend and speaks exclusively in the main interview inside, with a host of other features also included.

What will the weather be like?

It’s set to be cloudy during the game on Sunday, with temperatures at around 13 degrees.
