Leicester v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information

Sat 22 May 2021, 15:31|Tottenham Hotspur

We travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City in our final game of the 2020/21 season on Sunday (kick-off 4pm UK).

Both sides need to win – the Foxes are looking to jump back into the Champions League qualification places after being leapfrogged into fourth by Liverpool, while we’re aiming to move up into the top six to secure Europa League football for next term, although our fate is no longer solely in our own hands after our midweek loss to Aston Villa.

Ahead of the match, which will see Leicester fans in attendance as the gradual relaxation of lockdown restrictions continues, here’s all you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

All Premier League games kick-off at 4pm UK on Sunday.

Our match at the King Power Stadium will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Football, with radio commentary available on talkSPORT, as well as our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you can also enjoy live minute-by-minute text updates, goal alerts and stats.

Alternatively, head over to twitch.tv/tottenhamhotspur from 3pm UK for our official Watchalong.

Full worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

How will the teams line up?

Left-back Ben Davies has returned to light training but won’t be ready to feature against the Foxes.

Ryan Mason will also have to make a change at right-back after Japhet Tanganga suffered an ankle ligament injury in the latter stages of the Villa match in midweek.

For Leicester, defender Jonny Evans misses out after a recurrence of his heel problem forced him out of the action prematurely in his side’s FA Cup Final win over Chelsea last weekend.

Last chance to bid in kit man Steve Dukes' auction

The unique football shirt auction launched by our Head of Kit and Equipment Steve Dukes in memory of his late father ends on Sunday - this is your last chance to bid.

Charlie Dukes tragically lost his life last May at the age of 73 after a cycling accident. In honour of his dad, Steve has brought together shirts from all 92 English football league clubs which he is now auctioning off to raise awareness of the importance of wearing cycle helmets, while raising funds for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance service charity.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Anthony Taylor will referee the match on Sunday.

Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will be his assistants, with Keith Stroud as the fourth official.

We’ll be in our usual home kit with our goalkeeper in orange.

Leicester will be in blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks with a black keeper’s kit.

What will the weather be like?

There’s forecast to be a mixture of light rain showers and a moderate breeze, plus some bright spells during the game on Sunday. Temperatures should be around 11 degrees at kick-off.
