Fans to return for our final home match of the season
Thu 06 May 2021, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur
We are delighted to confirm our plans to welcome 10,000 fans back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for our final home Premier League match of the season against Aston Villa on Wednesday 19 May, kick-off 6pm UK, subject to Government confirmation of Step 3 protocols becoming active from Monday 17 May.
Fans to return for our final home match of the season
• Club confirms plans to welcome 10,000 fans back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for our final home Premier League match of the season with Aston Villa on Wednesday 19 May, kick-off 6pm UK.
• Season Ticket Holders and Executive Members now have the opportunity to access match tickets via ballots.
• All match tickets will be digital with all adult general admission fans required to complete our ID validation process to enter the ballot.
• Any health and safety requirements that need to be completed by fans ahead of attending will be communicated once confirmed by the Government and Premier League.
This represents the first time fans have been present for a match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since last December, when we were able to stage two back-to-back games against Arsenal and Royal Antwerp to a capacity of 2,000.
The increased capacity for the Aston Villa fixture will see us open our South Stand and Level 5 of the East, North and West stands to general admission supporters, with Premium areas opened in both the East and West stands.
We are delighted that we can now start to welcome back supporters in greater numbers to round off the season. It means we can further reward our Season Ticket Holders who showed great loyalty in paying a deposit for their 2020/21 Season Ticket last summer, and our Executive Members who have paid in advance for multi-year packages.
We shall once again be applying a proportionate allocation of tickets between Season Ticket Holders, Premium and other stakeholders, such as partners and affiliates.
Season Ticket Holders, including those on our Access scheme, are now able to enter the Aston Villa ticket ballot via eTicketing – the ballot will remain open until 11am on Monday 10 May.
As a reminder, supporters who have successfully deferred their Season Ticket to 2021/22 due to COVID-19 related medical reasons will not be eligible to apply. Those wishing to cancel their deferral and be able to enter the ballot should contact us.
Entry to the ballot is not dependent on supporters having renewed their Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season – the deadline for which remains Thursday 3 June, 2021.
Due to the additional time we have ahead of this fixture compared to the December matches, successful general admission applicants will be contacted on Monday 10 May and invited to select and purchase their seats from the available options on Tuesday 11 May.
Supporters on our Access scheme will be able to specify their location preference at the point of application. Successful applicants will also be contacted on Monday 10 May and will have their space allocated and payment taken after the ballot has closed. All seats will be set out in line with social distancing guidelines.
By virtue of tickets being allocated via a ballot, and as is the case with all ballots, credits cannot be used for the purchase of general admission Aston Villa match tickets.
Pricing is in line with the average price of a seat across our general admission areas for a Category B fixture:
• Adults - £60
• Young Adults - £45
• Over 65 / Under 18 - £30
A booking fee of £1.75 will apply to all general admission tickets.
Supporters are able to apply in groups of up to six Season Ticket Holders, with all attendees required to be part of your My Network. A group application will be treated as a single entry, with all members of a group either being successful or unsuccessful. No groups will be split.
Although supporters who were successful in obtaining a ticket for either the Arsenal or Royal Antwerp matches can still enter the ballot, priority will be given to applicants who have not yet had the chance to attend a home match this season.
Given the restrictions on numbers permitted to attend, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate applications from One Hotspur Members or Official Supporters’ Clubs for this match. We look forward to welcoming you back to matches next season.
The attendance of away supporters is not permitted at this stage.
Digital Ticketing and ID Validation
As previously announced, and as successfully implemented for our reduced-capacity home matches last December, our general admission ticketing process is now fully digital.
Season Ticket cards previously in circulation will no longer work and entry to the stadium can now only be gained via the mobile device to which your match ticket is delivered and downloaded to.
To support this, and to ensure supporter safety and security, we have been asking all adult Season Ticket Holders to complete our online ID validation process. We thank all supporters who have already done so.
Any adult Season Ticket Holder who is yet to complete this process must do so before attending a match. Any supporter over the age of 18 who does not submit a form of ID for validation will be unable to enter the Aston Villa ballot.
Supporters who do not own a smart phone should visit our dedicated page on Ask Spurs.
For any further questions on our ID validation and digital ticketing processes, please visit Ask Spurs. We thank all supporters for their co-operation.
Executive Members
All Executive Members contracted for the 2020/21 season will automatically be entered into a ticket ballot for this match. Further information on the ballot process, timescales, ticketing procedures and all other relevant details will be communicated separately by the Premium team to Members in due course.
Health and Safety requirements
Any health and safety requirements that need to be completed by fans ahead of attending will be communicated once confirmed by the Government and Premier League.
Further information regarding the matchday experience for this fixture will also be communicated directly to supporters who have successfully applied for a ticket.
Thank you
We should once again like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their continued patience and co-operation throughout this season, as well as all NHS staff, key workers and those involved in the roll-out of the national vaccination programme for getting us to this stage.
We look forward to welcoming local NHS staff and key workers at the appropriate time – including those who have worked at our stadium during the pandemic – to enjoy a match.
We hope this match will be another major step on the road back to full stadiums next season and we look forward to welcoming you all back home soon – football has not been the same without our fans.
