Toby Alderweireld has been impressed with Villa this season - but knows we have to get back to winning ways at Villa Park on Sunday (7.30pm).
It's been a tough week with defeat in the north London derby last Sunday followed by elimination from the UEFA Europa League at the hands of Dinamo Zabgreb in Croatia on Thursday evening.
We'd won five on the spin before that, scoring 15 goals, and Toby knows we need to return to that form as soon as possible.
"I know it's a cliché but we need to bounce back, get a good result and get back to a good way of football," said Toby, who has started 19 times for us in the Premier League this term.
Villa play with a lot of intensity, and every team is difficult, especially away
Villa turned the year in fifth place in the Premier League but a run of three wins in their last 11 have seen them slip to ninth. We're four points ahead of Villa in eighth and with 10 games to go, we're six points off the top four with a game in hand.
"Villa are a very good team," added Toby, who scored in our 3-2 win at Villa Park last season. "They've showed this season that they are making steps forward, they have good quality up front and are difficult to beat. They play with a lot of intensity, and every team is difficult, especially away. We have to look to our own performances, and be ready to compete."
