Spurs v Crystal Palace – how to watch, team news, key information

Sat 06 March 2021, 23:15|Tottenham Hotspur

We’re back in action at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Crystal Palace in a rare Sunday evening kick-off this weekend (7.15pm UK time).

With three consecutive victories under our belts in all competitions, we’ll be looking to extend our winning run and take three points against the Eagles for the first time under Jose Mourinho, following back-to-back 1-1 draws in our last two meetings with them.

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event will be screening the match live in the UK on Sunday, kick-off 7.15pm, while radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

How will the teams line up?

Right-back Serge Aurier is expected to return to the squad after being rested for Thursday night’s trip to Fulham.

When asked if he expects Serge to be available for the Palace match, Jose Mourinho said: “I believe yes. He had that injury, then he played the last match (before Fulham) until minute 75 when he started feeling his calf again. He doesn't have an injury, he just has not the best feeling after a muscular injury. I believe he is going to (be available) but to be honest I am so happy with Matt Doherty’s performance on Thursday night.”

Sunday’s match could come too soon for Giovani Lo Celso, who is back in training and closing in on a return to action.

Talisman Wilfried Zaha is back for Palace after five games out because of a hamstring problem, but Nathaniel Clyne, Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins are sidelined. James McCarthy and James McArthur are also on the injury list and continue to be assessed.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Stuart Attwell will referee the game on Sunday, with Constantine Hatzidakis and Neil Davies as his assistants. The fourth official will be Andre Marriner.

We’ll play in our usual home kit with our goalkeeper in orange.

Palace will be in their usual red and blue stripes, with their goalkeeper in pale green.

How can I get the matchday programme?

As usual, printed copies of our official matchday programme are available to order and have delivered direct to your door.

Although the deadline to order your copy and have it in your hands in time for kick-off has now passed, you can still order yours online for delivery as soon as possible. Matt Doherty is the subject of the main interview in Sunday’s edition, priced at the usual £3.50. Order yours in the post now.

What will the weather be like?

It’ll be cloudy with light winds in north London on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to be around five degrees when the game gets underway.
