Racing star Billy Monger joins us on N17 Live on Sunday!

Fri 05 March 2021, 18:09|Tottenham Hotspur

Billy Monger is our special guest on N17 Live for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace (7.15pm).

Fresh from his incredible exploits in completing Billy’s Big Red Nose Day Challenge, the racing driver will join host and fellow Spurs fan Ben Haines at the stadium for our popular pre and post-match show, which will begin at 6.30pm.

Billy, 21, recovered from an horrific crash in April, 2017 - a crash that left him as a double leg amputee – to take his place in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship less than a year later. Indeed, he finished on the podium on his return at Oulton Park. His determination and resilience to get back behind the wheel led to him being awarded the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards in 2018.

Last month, Billy walked, cycled and kayaked over 140 miles in four days for Red Nose Day, finishing at the world-famous race circuit, Brands Hatch. His achievement is the subject of a special documentary on BBC on 18 March. @billymongerracing
