Ahead of Thursday evening’s Premier League encounter with Fulham (6pm kick-off), we take a look at the key numbers behind the game.

10 wins in 12

We have enjoyed our recent Premier League encounters with Fulham having taken all three points in 10 out of our last 12 meetings (D1 L1), including five wins on the trot at Craven Cottage. In that spell, we have conceded just eight goals against the west London side and we have haven't conceded more than a single goal in any of those 12 games. Our success to date in this Premier League fixture can also be seen in our London derby record as only against West Ham (24) have we recorded more victories in capital clashes than against Fulham (15).

In our last game against the Cottagers, however, we drew 1-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a late Ivan Cavaleiro header cancelled out Harry Kane’s opener back in January. That result, though, did extend our unbeaten run in the fixture as we are now six without defeat against Fulham (W5 D1).

Midweek blues

So far this season, we have not won any of our four midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Premier League matches, drawing one and losing three. That includes the aforementioned draw with the Cottagers back in January (Weds), our two defeats against Liverpool - 2-1 at Anfield in December (Weds) and then 3-1 at home in January (Thurs) - and our 1-0 home loss to Chelsea in February (Thurs).

However, Fulham also hold a less than desirable record in midweek games having won just one of their last 14 such fixtures in the top flight (D6 L7). They last won a midweek Premier League game in January, 2019, with a 4-2 triumph over Brighton. This season, they have drawn four of their six midweek games.

Hitting home

No side in the Premier League this season has scored fewer goals at home than Fulham. In their 13 outings at Craven Cottage this season, the Cottagers have score just eight times. In their last eight home games, they have scored just three goals while they have picked up just seven points from the 24 available to them in that period.

However, defensively at home, they have the ninth-best record in the division having conceded just 15 goals at the Cottage. In fact, they have only conceded one goal in their last five Premier games while they have also kept back-to-back clean sheets in their last two home matches.

Meanwhile, despite having lost just one of our first nine away games this season, we have now lost each of last three games on the road - as many as we had lost in our last 17 such matches (W7 D7). Jose Mourinho has never lost four consecutive away league games in his career.

Bale and Kane versus Fulham

The two players in our current squad to have been involved in the most goals for us in games versus Fulham are Harry Kane and Gareth Bale. In their 17 career appearances against the Cottagers to date, the pair have a combined tally of 11 goal involvements.

Harry has scored six times in just four games against the Whites, which includes a hat-trick at Craven Cottage as he fired home all three goals in our 2017 FA Cup fifth round win over Fulham. He has also scored in each of his three Premier League appearances against them.

Meanwhile, Gareth has delivered all six of his career goal involvements against the west London side in the Premier League. The first two of those involvements came on his second-ever league start for us as he grabbed both his first goal and first assist in a Spurs shirt in a 3-3 draw at the Cottage in September, 2007. He then went on to be involved in three more league goals against Fulham in his first spell with us (one goal, two assists).
