Dinamo Zagreb v Spurs – how to watch, team news, key information

Wed 17 March 2021, 19:28|Tottenham Hotspur

The second leg of our UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie with Dinamo Zagreb takes place on Thursday evening in Croatia (kick-off 5.55pm UK).

We go to Stadion Maksimir with a 2-0 lead from last week’s first leg at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where, importantly, we didn’t concede – if we score on Thursday, Dinamo would need to score at least four goals to go through, based on the away goals rule.

The hosts won 5-0 away to Varazdin on Sunday but will have a different manager in the dugout when we meet them this time around, after their former player and assistant boss Damir Krznar replaced Zoran Mamic at the helm.

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of Thursday’s match...

How can I watch the game?

Live television coverage in the UK will be available on BT Sport 1, with live radio commentary on talkSPORT 2.

For other territories, see the worldwide broadcast listings.

Kick-off is at 5.55pm UK time, 6.55pm local time in Zagreb.

A reminder that our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app enables you to follow all the action as it happens, with live minute-by-minute text updates, audio commentary and stats.

Plus, our Watchalong is available from 4.55pm UK over on twitch.tv/tottenhamhotspur.

How will the teams line up?

Jose Mourinho confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday that striker Harry Kane will feature for us.

However, fellow attacker Heung-Min Son misses out through injury, while midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg serves a one-match ban after accumulating three yellow cards in the competition so far.

Defender Joe Rodon is ineligible to play in the Europa League, but the good news is that midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is back in contention after being sidelined through injury since December.

Dinamo are still without injured right-back Sadegh Moharrami.

Teams can name up to 12 substitutes each in this competition, of which five may be used.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Thursday’s match officials are all from Italy.

Davide Massa is the referee, Filippo Meli and Stefano Alassio will be his assistants and Michael Fabbri is the fourth official.

We will play in our all-yellow third kit, which is now available with a 20 per cent discount at our online shop. Dinamo will be in all dark blue.

As for the goalkeepers, ours will play in the bright green strip, while Dinamo’s will wear pink.
