Women’s first team players Shelina Zadorsky and Ria Percival have received their official call-ups for this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Captain Shelina has been named on Canada’s 18-woman roster, having won bronze at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Canada will be competing in Group E at the delayed 2020 instalment along with Japan, Great Britain and Chile.

Ria, meanwhile, is set for her fourth consecutive Olympic Games with New Zealand, having previously competed in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

The versatile defender is the most-capped player at senior international level in her nation’s history.

Known as the Football Ferns, Ria’s side will be up against Sweden, USA and Australia in Group G.
