Leyton Orient and MK Dons friendlies confirmed

We are pleased to announce two more pre-season friendlies that will take place next month against Leyton Orient and MK Dons as part of our preparations for the new season.
The match against Leyton Orient takes place at The Breyer Group Stadium on Saturday 17 July, kick-off 3pm and will see us compete for the JE3 Foundation Trophy.
It’s now two years since the passing of much-loved former Spurs defender and Orient manager, Justin Edinburgh, and £2 from every match ticket sold will be donated to The JE3 Foundation set up in his memory.
The JE3 Foundation aims to support UK heart health charities and to campaign for legislative change – Justin’s Law – to make it compulsory for all health, fitness, and sports facilities to be equipped with a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD).
Charlie Edinburgh, Justin’s son and founder of the JE3 Foundation, said: “First and foremost, as a family, the fact that two clubs that meant so much to Justin and us as a family are coming together to put on a spectacle for supporters is incredible.
“It’s very overwhelming and very humbling that both clubs want to come together to remember Dad with a friendly, with a percentage of the proceeds raised going to the JE3 Foundation, which is an amazing touch. It shows the continued support from both clubs to the great work that we’re doing.”
We will then travel to face MK Dons at Stadium MK on Wednesday 28 July, kick-off 7.45pm.
Stadium MK is a venue that many of our fans will be familiar with following our home Carabao Cup third round match against Watford held there in September, 2018, while our new stadium was being built.
With our temporary Wembley base unavailable that evening, the home of MK Dons played host to a dramatic 4-2 penalty shoot-out win.
At present, due to COVID-19 related restrictions, there is no provision for away supporters to attend either match. However, should that situation change and an away allocation be permitted we shall communicate details in due course.
