We are delighted to announce the appointment of Vicky Jepson as Assistant Coach for our Women’s first team.
Vicky joins Rehanne Skinner’s coaching staff having previously spent more than a decade with Liverpool Women.
Joining the Reds in 2009, Vicky initially worked across the Merseyside club’s player development pathway, where her achievements in preparing and nurturing young players for the step up to senior football were recognised by the Football Association, as she was named FA Female Development Coach of the Year in 2015.
In June, 2018, she joined Liverpool Women’s first team set-up, initially taking up a role as assistant manager before being appointed manager four months later. After 12 years with the club, she departed in January of this year.
During her time with Liverpool, Vicky also worked with the England Under-17 side, guiding them to the finals of the European Championship in 2018.
Speaking on her appointment, Vicky said: “I’m really excited about my new role – I’m refreshed, refocused and ready to hit the ground running at this fantastic club. I have a good working relationship with Rehanne through her previous work in the England national set-up, where we communicated regularly about players during my time at Liverpool, and I know she’s got an incredible passion for driving things forward at this Club, so I’m delighted to be a part of that and to be working with her on this journey at Spurs. By working as an assistant to Rehanne, I’m looking forward to being able to focus more on the coaching side of the game and helping to get the best out of our players on a daily basis.”

Head Coach Rehanne said: “I am really pleased to have Vicky on board. We have known each other a long time in various roles internationally and domestically and I have always admired her work ethic and commitment to the development of the game. She has had significant experience in both player development and in the WSL through her roles at Liverpool that I knew would make her a fantastic asset to our team and the journey we are on at Spurs. Vicky has an excellent knowledge of the game and I am looking forward to working with her.”
