There was a spell between 2008-2012 where we beat Liverpool six times on the trot at White Hart Lane.
That run included a 2-1 victory in the Premier League and 4-2 success in the League Cup within a month of Harry Redknapp's arrival as manager in October, 2008 and a 4-0 win when Liverpool had both Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel sent off in 2011. Throw in spectacular strikes from the likes of Benoit-Assou Ekotto (2009) and Luka Modric (2011) and it was quite a time for Spurs fans!
Another memorable goal arrived in the sixth and last of this run of wins against the Reds as Gareth Bale unleashed one of his trademark 'knuckleball' free-kicks that swerved and deceived Pepe Reina on our way to a 2-1 win in November, 2012. Gareth also set up Aaron Lennon for the opener, and the pair would combine again later for one of the most bizarre own goals you'll see! Enjoy!
