Jose’s latest on Harry’s return: “It’s not optimistic to say next week”

Jose Mourinho is hopeful Harry Kane will return to action next week.
The striker was forced off at half-time of our Premier League match against Liverpool last week with ankle damage and missed Sunday’s trip to Brighton. He’s set to miss our next games against Chelsea (Thursday night, 8pm) and West Brom (Sunday, 12noon) but Jose believes he will come back into the frame after that.
Speaking at his pre-Chelsea press conference after training today (Wednesday), Jose said: “Harry is making good progress, he’s happy with the progress, of course we’re happy too. It’s not optimistic to say next week he should be playing, that should just be the consequence of his good evolution.
“We were a bit scared when everything happened, but now we are much more positive, and next week we play Everton midweek (FA Cup, 10 February) and City at the weekend (Premier League, 13 February) and I believe for one of these matches, he should be back.”
