Club launches Chinese New Year campaign at huge London derby

We will launch our Chinese New Year campaign at tonight’s huge London derby match with Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Club’s players will warm-up in special edition t-shirts – the design of which was voted for by followers of the official Tottenham Hotspur Weibo platform in China.

• Club’s players to wear special edition warm-up t-shirts celebrating Chinese New Year ahead of tonight’s home match with London rivals Chelsea.
• T-shirt design was voted for by followers of the Club’s official Weibo platform and will be made available for sale via its Chinese e-commerce platforms.
• Club campaign aims to promote healthy living amongst its fans over the Chinese New Year period, with exclusive content featuring Heung-Min Son, Gareth Bale and Hugo Lloris to be released.
• Club will also be marking New Year celebrations in South Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Fans in China will be able to tune in for the pre-match build-up via a live stream on Weibo, broadcast from Shanghai, starting at 7pm China time.
T-shirts will be made available for sale via the Club’s e-commerce platforms in China to kick-off a New Year campaign aimed at promoting healthy living among its fans.
Building up to Chinese New Year on Friday 12 February, the Club will release exclusive and engaging content via its digital platforms in China, including a series of short videos featuring Heung-Min Son, Gareth Bale and Hugo Lloris re-enacting traditional New Year activities and offering advice on how fans can stay healthy during the Year of the Ox.
Lunar New Year is also celebrated at this time across other nations in Asia, including South Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam, where the Club has a huge following.
Content featuring Son, South Korea’s national team captain, will be released across the Club’s Korean platforms, including Naver TV, Facebook and the recently launched @Spurs_KR Twitter account, with New Year messages from players also recorded for Vietnam and Malaysia.
