Spurs v Crystal Palace – how to watch, team news, key information

Sun 26 December 2021, 10:23|Tottenham Hotspur

We’re in action at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the third time in a week today (Sunday 26 December) as we take on Crystal Palace in our Boxing Day fixture.

Palace are 11th coming into the game and beat us 3-0 at Selhurst Park earlier in the season, but we remain unbeaten in domestic competition under Antonio Conte and will be looking to continue that run this afternoon (kick-off 3pm UK).

Here’s all the key information you need to know ahead of the action getting underway...

How can I watch the game?

Today’s match was picked up by BT Sport as a late addition on Friday – they’ll be televising the game live in the UK on BT Sport 1, kick-off 3pm.

For all the live build-up and reaction from inside the stadium, you can also tune in to N17 Live, our exclusive pre- and post-match show. It’s available to watch for free online, across social media and on the Spurs Official app from 2.15pm UK.

There’s also the option of joining our official Watchalong on Twitch – head to twitch.tv/tottenhamhotspur from 2pm UK – or you can follow all the action via our live Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the app, which features minute-by-minute text and audio commentary, goal alerts and stats at your fingertips.

If you’re supporting us from outside the UK, be sure to check the worldwide broadcast listings to see if the match is being shown in your area.

How will the teams line up?

We have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, with defender Cristian Romero and wing-back Ryan Sessegnon still sidelined.

Palace boss Patrick Vieira revealed a couple of days ago that Palace had experienced some COVID-19 cases among their ranks, while James McArthur and Nathan Ferguson are out injured.

Who is the referee and what colours will the teams be playing in?

Today’s match will be refereed by Jonathan Moss, along with assistants Marc Perry and Timothy Wood, plus fourth official Stephen Martin.

On VAR duty will be Mike Dean, assisted by Neil Davies.

Our 2021/22 home kit of Lilywhite shirts, navy shorts and navy socks will be in use as usual, with our goalkeeper in green.

Palace will arrive in their change strip of all yellow, with their keeper in pink.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Our matchday programme will once again be on sale at the game, priced at the usual £3.50. It’s available from all Tap Inn counters around the stadium and external pods situated at Paxton House, the South Podium, Park Lane Square and Worcester Avenue.

Supporters not attending the match can order a copy online here, for delivery direct to your door.

Today’s issue features an insightful interview with Ben Davies about what it takes to play in a back three, his recent academical achievement and the challenges of the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

What will the weather be like?

It’s forecast to be cloudy and windy in north London this afternoon, with temperatures at around nine degrees.
