Antonio Conte immediately recognised the support of our fans as he reflected on his first month at the Club.
Appointed as our Head Coach on 2 November, Antonio marked his first month in charge with a 2-0 victory against Brentford on Thursday evening. That made it two wins and a draw out of three so far in the Premier League and closed the gap to two points to West Ham in fourth.
“My first month was a month, for sure, with great feelings,” said Antonio, speaking to Spurs TV on Friday afternoon. “I want to thank our fans for the welcome they have given me. I hope and I want to repay them with important work for this Club.
“With the players, we created a good atmosphere. I have found a good environment, players showing me great commitment, great desire to try to improve. I wanted this situation... to find a Club to work in the way I like.”
Norwich City are next as Antonio looks to continue building momentum, but there was time to reflect on a positive display a win against Brentford.
“It was a good performance, a good win, many positives from the work we’re doing in training sessions in this period,” he added. “Three points, very important for the table, but the players know very well that in three days we have another important game against Norwich, and we have to be prepared to face this game in the best possible way.”
