Spurs v Arsenal – how to watch, key information
Sun 08 August 2021, 00:18|Tottenham Hotspur
Both our men’s and women’s first teams will be taking on Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
For the men, it’s our second match in The Mind Series and our final outing of pre-season (kick-off 2pm).
Having come back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Chelsea in midweek, we’ve a chance to complete an unbeaten summer under Nuno Espirito Santo as the first-of-its-kind round robin tournament concludes just a week before the new Premier League campaign gets underway.
Then, at 4.45pm, our women’s first team takes centre stage as they battle their counterparts from the red half of north London, complete with a number of new faces in Rehanne Skinner’s squad.
Here’s all you need to know...

What is The Mind Series?
Ourselves, Chelsea and Arsenal are taking on each other in a first-of-its-kind series of pre-season matches.
Funds raised from the series will be split between Mind and the respective club Foundations, that each deliver projects to support mental health and wellbeing in communities both at home and overseas.
Mind – the UK’s leading mental health charity – and the clubs, using their huge global reach and platforms, will promote mental health awareness as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Demand for Mind’s services, including its Infoline, has increased exponentially during the pandemic, with latest figures released by the Office of National Statistics showing one in five adults experiencing symptoms of depression, compared to one in 10 prior to the pandemic. Mind’s own survey of 16,000 people during the initial lockdown also found that two in three young people (68 per cent) and three in five adults (60 per cent) said their mental health got worse.
What colours will the teams be playing in?
Once again, we’ll be in our new 2021/22 home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts, navy shorts and navy socks.
Arsenal will play in red shirts with white shorts and red and white hooped socks.
Our goalkeeper will be in green, with Arsenal’s in orange.
How can I get the matchday programme?
For the first time ever, with both our men’s and women’s teams hosting the same opponents on the same day and at the same venue, we’ve combined the matchday programmes for both fixtures into one innovative publication, giving you the ideal guide to all the action throughout the afternoon.
Complete with two front covers, the 68-page programme is packed full of exclusive features, news, information and imagery to complement both fixtures – just flip the programme to whichever game you want to read about and turn the pages to enjoy the articles as normal.
