September international fixtures for our players

Wed 01 September 2021, 12:15|Tottenham Hotspur

The first international break of the season is upon us, with a number of first team and Academy players set to represent their countries over the next two weeks.

World Cup qualifiers dominate the schedule for our senior players, while Bryan Gil, Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon face qualifying matches for the European Under-21 Championships with their respective nations.

There's the potential for some of our players to face each other when Ben Davies and Joe Rodon's Wales host Maksim Paskotsi's Estonia in World Cup qualifying next Wednesday (8 September). Defender Joe, who has been sidelined through injury of late, will only link up with Wales for that fixture and will not be involved in their games against Finland and Belarus as he continues his recovery.

Elsewhere, there are fixture camps for a number of Academy players including goalkeeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala, who will finally get a chance to link up with France for the first time, joining the Under-19s for a trio of friendly matches. Paris-born Thimmi was previously called up on more than one occasion by France Under-18s, but was unable to be involved because of travel restrictions relating to the pandemic.

Twins Michael and Matthew Craig are also in action at Under-19 level this week in a training camp with Scotland.

Here’s the full list of international matches likely to involve our players over the next fortnight (all kick-off times are UK)...
