November international fixtures for our players

Wed 11 November 2020, 12:37|Tottenham Hotspur

The UEFA Nations League campaign continues as international fixtures return this week.

Many of our European players are set to face each other, with Matt Doherty in particular having the potential to take on up to six of his Spurs team-mates as the Republic of Ireland face Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Harry Winks' England in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday, before visiting a Wales side in the Nations League that now has three of our players involved, with recent arrivals Gareth Bale and Joe Rodon joining Ben Davies in the squad.

Toby Alderweireld's Belgium also face England while, at Under-21 level, Gedson Fernandes' Portugal meet Jack Roles' Cyprus in qualifying for the European Under-21 Championship finals.

Serge Aurier, Giovani Lo Celso and Davinson Sanchez are also in tournament qualifying – Serge is with Ivory Coast for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, while Giovani is in the Argentina squad and Davinson has been called up by Colombia in South American qualifying for the FIFA World Cup.

Heung-Min Son, meanwhile, has back-to-back friendlies for South Korea against Mexico and Qatar, both taking place at a neutral venue in Austria.

In the younger age categories with England, there are training camps for Harvey White (Under-20), Dennis Cirkin (Under-19) and Nile John (Under-18).
