50 up for Harry - most England caps as a Spurs player

Sun 15 November 2020, 23:43|Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane hit two milestones in one match as he captained England against Belgium in UEFA Nations League action on Sunday.

First up, the League A, Group Two clash in Leuven represented Harry's 50th cap for his country. The striker scored 71 seconds into his debut against Lithuania at Wembley back in March, 2015, and is now on 32 goals in those 50 caps.

Harry has also captained his country on 28 occasions, first wearing the armband against Scotland in June, 2017 and then leading England into the 2018 World Cup Finals. Harry won the tournament's Golden Boot as Gareth Southgate's men made it to the semi-finals in Russia.

Meanwhile, Harry has now won more England caps as a Spurs player than anyone else, his half-century taking him past Jermain Defoe, who earned 49 of his 57 caps during his two spells at the Club.

Eric Dier has moved level with Glenn Hoddle on 44 caps, and into joint third all-time on our England caps list. Dele has 37.
