Jose Mourinho has delivered the team news we all want to hear - our previously injured players are now ready for action.
Harry Kane (hamstring), Moussa Sissoko (knee) and Heung-Min Son (arm) were all missing for our Premier League encounter at Burnley on 7 March. Steven Bergwijn then picked up an ankle injury late in our 1-1 draw at Turf Moor, meaning all four were sidelined for our last match at RB Leipzig on 10 March.
Ten weeks later, all four players are back and preparing with Jose and the squad for the Premier League’s return, following Thursday’s announcement of the provisional restart date of 17 June.
“In relation to the big injuries that ended in surgeries, Moussa, Sonny and Harry, yes, they are back,” said Jose. “We are going to start training with the full group next Monday, and yes, they are going to be involved in the group.

“We have to be ready for problems now because this is pre-season, and pre-season brings problems. I know that some people are speaking about it in a way that it’s a new thing in football, but it’s not a new thing, problems in pre-season, players a long time without playing, without even training on the pitch, without competing, so now the players are back, I can’t imagine it’s going to be different for us.
“We have to be very careful with the players’ welfare, and this pre-season is probably more difficult than other pre-seasons, because they come from a long period without training, so we have to be careful with that.
“It’s not like on Monday we start training together and immediately we are going to do 11 against 11 because we’re ready, no, we are not going to do that. We want to make sure that progressively we are going to arrive on matchday one and be, let’s say, ready.
“So, let’s go step by step and of course, we want to be ready, we want to be ready to fight for points, to give fun to people, to give joy to Tottenham fans, to give good matches to everyone who loves football around the world and let’s go for it.”
