Lucas and Dele are back - and that means Jose Mourinho has full attacking options for the first time as we take on West Ham on Tuesday night (8.15pm).
The pair missed our return to action after 102 days away due to the coronavirus as we drew 1-1 against Manchester United on Friday evening. Lucas has recovered from injury and Dele is available after suspension.
“It’s only good news,” said Jose, when asked for a team news update at the start of Monday’s press conference. “Lucas is back from injury, Dele is back from punishment and no injuries coming from the game against Man Utd, so we didn't lose any players and we have two extra players that make our squad really, really good.
"That gives me for the first time since I arrived all six attacking players available for the game. I've had matches with only one! Now finally I have six, so I can have people playing, people on the bench, rotate the players, and our attacking options for this match are really good.
“They are all players that I like very, very much. I always liked the players who were here when I arrived and then, in the January window, we got Bergwijn, and Bergwijn, Lamela, Lucas, Son, Dele and Harry, six attacking players, all different, all very good, and the first time I have all of them available. It is the kind of problem that we coaches, we just love it.”
Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth remain sidelined.
